A Fundraising Volunteer supports the organisation to raise vital income that helps deliver its mission and activities. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and enjoys working with people, ideas, and community initiatives.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of fundraising activities, campaigns, and events
  • Helping to generate new fundraising ideas and ways to engage supporters
  • Assisting with community fundraising, collections, and sponsored activities
  • Supporting grant applications, research, or donor communications where appropriate
  • Building positive relationships with supporters, donors, local businesses, and community groups
  • Helping to promote fundraising activity through word of mouth, social media, or local networks
  • Accurately handling information relating to donations in line with agreed processes
  • Representing the organisation positively and professionally at events and in the community

The role is flexible and can be shaped around the volunteer’s interests and availability. Full guidance and support will be provided, and no prior fundraising experience is required—just a willingness to get involved, work as part of a team, and support the organisation’s goals.
